Hey guys i have a 1992 k1500 nothing done to it completely stock. Mar 22 2012 12 29am. Pedal offers some resistance but can be forced to the floor. Brakes feel real good until slowing to about 2 mph.

Posted july 8 2014 edited i have my truck at a service center. 2005 chevy 2500 hd 4x4 wt. System was not opened. The back brakes are low but in good condition not like the fronts at all.

The fronts allow pedal travel to about 3 4 of the way to the floor and push fluid but then the pedal stops hard wont go to the floor and the fluid trickles out. The final reason for a brake pedal to go to the floor is failing axle bearing. To bleed manually start with the bleeder the greatest distance from the master cylinder car running helper pushing down about half way on brake pedal and releasing 3 times on 3rd time holding pedal down to half way depressed point while you. Average failure mileage is 9 700 miles.
