If this method doesn t remove the sticky buildup completely move on to a product made specifically for cleaning wood. This will remove remaining residue. This will help the residue soften for easier removal.

Plastic can also get sticky as it accumulates residue from your hands if something gets spilled on it or if there is leftover adhesive on it from a sticker or glue.
